![]() Pitcher is a baseball fan who enjoys watching the Yankees. Currently serves as an associate Medical Director with the VNA Hospice Program, and is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. Pitcher is an ABIM Board Certified physician with over 25 years of experience in Primary Care Internal Medicine, and has served as the Medical Director for Burlington Health and Rehabilitation since 1995. He was Chief Resident from 1990-1991, and has been part of UVM’s Clinical Faculty since 1990. Mark Pitcher, MD graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in 1987, completing his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Vermont in 1991. Accepting new pediatric patients birth to 18 years old. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, salsa dancing, sailing, and skiing. ![]() Megan is excited to return to Burlington and hopes to continue working with individuals and their families to improve their health and wellness. After attending the University of Southern Maine, where she received her master’s of nursing degree, she worked at a community health center in rural Maine. Prior to entering the field of healthcare, Megan worked in international education where she had the opportunity to work and travel abroad. She received her bachelor’s degree at University of Vermont. Megan O’Brien, FNP was born and raised in Vermont and is returning after living in Maine for the past several years. She enjoys spending free time with family and friends, traveling, spending time outdoors, and enjoying live music. Her professional interests include providing comprehensive care to individuals and families across the lifespan. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at Fletcher Allen Health Care and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Friedman Excellence in the Practice of Family Medicine Award. After working as a registered nurse, she went to medical school at the University of Vermont and received the Edward E. ![]() McGettrick graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. Accepting new patients.Īmy McGettrick, MD is a native Vermonter who grew up in the Champlain Islands. In her free time she enjoys swimming, paddle boarding, reading, cooking, watching movies, gardening, and spending time with her family and two cats, Merry and Pippin. Her passions include health promotion, nutrition, and lactation education. While working as a nurse, she also completed her Master’s degree through Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, with a focus on family medicine. Before coming to CHC, she worked at UVM Medical Center’s inpatient Hematology and Oncology unit as a chemotherapy nurse from 2019 to 2022, where she gained valuable clinical knowledge and a deeper connection with her community. She completed her nursing education through VTC and has experience in outpatient pediatrics and family medicine.
